“Sometimes the Beach…” is a story for children about moods of a southern California beach at different times and in different weather conditions as seen through the eyes of a young child. The story is based on my experiences as a child growing up visiting Oceanside, California to see relatives. There is the ice cream truck, the seagulls, the pier, the amphitheater, and of course the ocean and the leafy palm trees!
This is the audio version of the story. I hope to publish the picture book version soon. Currently, I am considering self publishing this story, if I can find the right illustrator. I think this story would be best in watercolors, so I am currently looking for a great watercolor artist who can really bring this story to life! Feel free to contact me with suggestions (especially suggestions about southern California artists).
