There are two nice words that make me smile and other people too.
They show others that I care for them for them in everything I do.
They are already in my mouth and they are ready to come out.
They are nice to say and nice to hear and nice to sing about.

“Please and thank you” are words are love to say
When I use them I feel good inside so I use them every day.

When my mommy bakes some cookies and then asks if I’d like some.
“Thank you mommy” are the words I say, before I even eat a crumb.
And then after I eat every bite, so I would not be mean,
“Thank you mommy!” are the words I say, as I wash my plate so clean.
